Microsoft Active Directory

Active Directory stores information about network objects in a hierarchal fashion. Active Directory is the evolution of the Microsoft Windows NT Domain combined with industry standards for directory services.

Microsoft Windows 2003 Server System is the current version of Microsoft Active Directory. This version has enhanced management tools to simplify administration, and includes a migration path from both Windows 2000 Active Directory and the Windows NT 4.0 Domain structure.

Syntax, Inc. has experience installing new Active Directory environments and upgrading from previous Microsoft NT Domain and Active Directory environments.
