Network Engines

A common concern for network administrators is the presence of Microsoft servers in the DMZ. If this is a steadfast policy, it precludes the introduction of beneficial technology that happens to be available under Windows. In our opinion, ISA is differentially unique technology, and should not be overlooked by network administrators.

Network Engines provides a hybrid solution that essentially delivers Microsoft ISA server on a security hardened appliance rather than a standard server. This mitigates the common concerns around Windows servers, because it eliminates the guess work about how to properly secure an ISA server, and it provides a timely and reliable means to install critical patches.
